Vinny Esposito, co-founder of Split Second Sound, has been providing music and entertainment as a professional DJ/MC for over 30 years. Performing for the first time at a July 4th party on Long Island in 1982, Vinny worked hard to build his brand. Vinny also played guitar in regional bands, specifically “Diana” fronted by now wife Diane, and together they owned a 24-track digital recording and rehearsal studio called Split Second Studios. Vinny and Diane moved to Charlotte in 1999 and quickly established their company as the most requested DJ company in the area, recently writing a record breaking 1391 events in 2019 (590 being weddings). Starting with 3 DJs on staff entertaining 40 total events in 2002, SSS now employs over 40 of the most talented MC/DJ Entertainers in the business. In 2020, times are changing fast and having Entertainers who understand what todays generation of engaged couples want is key to staying on top of our game.
